The Front Steps Project

While we are all frantically working towards finding a new normal during this time of Pandemic I was inspired by an initiative started in Needham, MA by a group of photographers called the Front Steps Project. I put out my own request on Facebook and Instagram seeing if there would be interest in uniting people through the medium of photography. I was excited and amazed at the positive feedback and interest! I grabbed my camera and hit the streets and roads and avenues lol with my kids navigating at my side. Staying far back I tried to capture as many faces as I could. This is what I saw… a community that I love, resilience, strength and a need to connect. I think that for me this was incredibly rewarding and I really hope you enjoy the gallery. You may see your neighbours, grandkids, friends, family, basketball superstars, creative puddle jumpers, friendly dogs, goofy kids, business’ working hard to keep important services running for those in the community… all the things and people you would enjoy on a day to day bases. This is a virtual backyard BBQ get together of sorts. Sending love out to you all… thank you for letting my come by… across the street from a safe social distancing place : ) Be safe, Stay Healthy, Stay Home and leave some love for all these wonderful people!!
